'Tis The Season!

The Memorial District is the place to be during the holidays! We have fun, family-friendly events throughout the season. So let us spread a little cheer and make your holidays merry and bright! Learn more about these fun events here.
 
Enjoy the Glisten Holiday Lighting at City Centre, Saturday, Nov. 23 from Noon to 9:00 p.m. With snowfall predicted, grab a sled and take a ride down the 5-foot snow slides or build a snowman in the snow box.  At 6:00 p.m. the DJ sets the stage for the evening’s festivities leading to the big holiday lighting at 8:00 p.m.
 
Check out Holiday in the Plaza at City Centre, Saturday, Nov. 30. Santa kicks off the festivities, when he arrives in his Sewell Cadillac at 12 noon to spread holiday cheer and pose for pictures. Help CityCentre fill Santa's ride with new, unwrapped toys to be donated to Texas Children’s Hospital West Campus in exchange for a complimentary picture with the big guy.
 
Now through Christmas Eve, visit Santa at St. Nick’s Park in Memorial City Mall, You will find Santa and his elves in the Dillard’s wing where you can share your wish list and have your picture taken to preserve the memories.
 
On Dec. 1st and 8th from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., families with children with special needs can come to Memorial City for Santa Cares. They have teamed up with Autism Speaks to create a sensory-friendly environment so everyone can experience the time-honored tradition of a visit with Santa.
 
Sunday, Dec.15th, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. bring your furry family member to take photos with Santa at Memorial City Pet Night.
 
Every Saturday Dec. 7-21, from 6:00 to 9:00  p.m. Jingle & Mingle is at The Square at Memorial City. Enjoy free performances with some of Houston’s best musicians, complimentary popcorn and plenty of room to dance. The Memorial City Reindeer are guaranteed to make an appearance and there is a 100% chance of a snowfall!
