Thanksgiving is always a great time to spend with family or with your favorite friends. But how about leaving the cooking to someone else? The Memorial District has great options for dining out or picking up a full meal already prepared. After all you will need a good meal ahead of that Black Friday shopping. Why not spend Thanksgiving with us?

Their meal includes roast turkey, potatoes, green beans, homemade cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie. The complete meal is just $189 and serves 8-10 people. Appetizers, sides, main dishes and dessert are also available a-la-carte. Order by 9 p.m. Nov. 21 and pick up 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Nov. 26-27 or 9 a.m.-noon Nov. 28 at Liberty Kitchen at the Treehouse.

For starters choose from roasted beets with raspberry puree, spiced pecans and maple vinaigrette and mint or forest mushroom soup with crispy shallot and pickled haricot vert. For your entrée select the smoked carved turkey with turkey gravy, mashed potatoes, classic stuffing, cranberry sauce, and green bean casserole or select pan-seared sea bass with sweet potato-wild mushroom hash, haricot vert, blistered vine cherry tomatoes with lemon oil. For dessert choose pumpkin pie with pecan brittle and expresso-bailey’s whipped cream or pecan pie with whipped cream and Blue Bell ice cream.

Celebrate Thanksgiving traditions at Perry’s. Start with your choice of butternut squash soup or honey crisp apple salad with dried cherries, walnuts and maple syrup vinaigrette. HEB and Randall's

You can always stop by HEB to pick up a full menu of thanksgiving dishes made by the deli; turkey or ham included. These items should be ordered a week in advanced and picked up on Thanksgiving Day. HEB hours are 6 am to 2 pm on Thanksgiving.
