Run Fun with CITYCENTRE Running Club

Houston runners, check out the CITYCENTRE Running Club. This free social run community promotes fitness, fun and philanthropy. They meet in front of lululemon at 6 p.m. on Mondays for a 3.5-mile run. After providing excellent leadership at the Memorial District for 15 years, Executive Director Pat Walters is retiring. Pat joined us after serving as a Senior Project Manager for the Energy Corridor District and working with ConocoPhillips for 25 years. Under Pat's leadership, the Memorial District has grown and improved with new buildings, new landscaping and beautification projects to enhance the community. Pat was instrumental in adding Constable patrols, BCycle Stations and improvement projects including the Conrad Sauer Detention Pond and Park Area. Thank you for your tireless efforts on behalf of the Memorial District, and congratulations on your well-earned retirement!
