Canstruction® Houston, Inc., a one-of-a-kind design and build competition benefiting the Houston Food Bank, returns to CITYCENTRE this November. Watch colossal structures, made entirely out of full cans of food, take shape around the district beginning Saturday, November 4; join in the fun with self-guided walking tours and public voting for your favorite cansculpture.
Expanding each year in popularity and participation since its founding in 1992, Canstruction® Houston generated more than 130,862 pounds of food for the Houston Food Bank in 2016. This allowed the organization to provide 108,963 meals for hunger relief charities in 18 southeast Texas counties. The event and exhibition is sponsored by H-E-B Houston, Thomas Printworks and b4®—a Midway-developed company with a mission to change lives through charitable giving.
