A portion of each ticket sale benefits the anti-trafficking efforts of Elijah Rising, a faith-based nonprofit that fights sex trafficking in Houston, provides community education and provides a restorative care program with housing, trauma-informed counseling and a caring community for adult women survivors of sex trafficking and their families.
‘Style. Substance. Global Girl Power’ as their foundation, Conscious Couture believes fashion is one of the truest expressions of a woman's freedom and control of her image. Fashion Against Human Trafficking is one of a series of events held that creates an inspiring atmosphere to shop the personal closets of celebrities and local style influencers while supporting the movement to fight sexual exploitation and supporting the growth of local designers.
