Fall Fashion Trends: Animal Prints, Tiny Purses, High-Rise Jeans

Head to the Memorial District to shop for your fall wardrobe. Shops throughout the District offer the hottest looks of the season including animal prints, bold colors, leather designs, casual Americana and classic looks that never go out of style.

Wide leg trouser are once again back in style as well as the boyfriend blazer. Animal print and faux fur are more popular than ever. The new look in jeans; look for high-rise styles. Pair them with a nude turtleneck sweater tucked in with a belt and you have a classic go-to look. Sock boot and knee-high boots are making a major comeback especially in animal prints.

Fashionable coats include the warm and comfortable teddy coat, quilted puffer styles and long and flowing menswear-style coats. Houndstooth, of course is always in season no matter what year it is.

As for purses, everything from tiny over-the-shoulder bags to bucket-shaped handbags were seen on the runways of Louis Vuitton, Hermes and Saint Laurent. New shapes and sizes are definitely popular for the fall.

In menswear, the sharp-dressed man and casual chic are the way to go. Camel coats, corduroy jeans, and neck scarfs are all on the it list.
